  2. avg less taxing on system? it totally lagged down 2 of my laptops, while avast worked flawlessly. yeah small sample size, but you gotta admit it's a bloated hog as most anti-virus programs.

  3. Check out Everything from voidtools, it's a search engine for Windows and works as long as your partitions are formatted as NTFS. It can index terabytes of drives in 1 minute and searching goes in the blink of an eye.

  4. Knew about OBS and AVG, but didn't know there was a free version of AVG. Didn't know about the rest, though. However i want to record gaming videos on my laptop but i take a massive performance hit when running other programs while running a game at the same time.
