  1. I hope that the only reason the the Sigma 18-35 1.8 did not make this list is because it is an APS-C lens??? That lens is sharp no matter what you do with it (at least based on all the reviews I have seen)

  2. I think sometimes you can’t just consider the price of a lens directly as a parameter to draw the line. For example, if you get yourself a Canon 24-70 f2.8 II, you end up having a very good zoom, a good 35mm and a good 50mm in one lens. What would it cost if you buy two or three primes to achieve similar goal? I guess it is easily way more expensive than this zoom lens. So maybe just put all lenses under a category according to the price tag is not a good way in the first place.

  3. I really appreciate your work, as I've probably said before you're one of the best camera lens reviewers on the internet. Anyway, can you do another video about best value lenses like the one you did in (probably) 2015? That would be really helpful 🙂

  4. Great video as always. So how about sharp zoom lenses? If I were to carry just one lens for all kinds of photography on a FF camera, which one would you recommend? Thanks.

  5. That little white Chapel/Church on the hill is in Wales, north of Cardigan, i took the same shot (but mine is a little sharper… just kidding). But what a lovely place it is – i can't remember the name of it? Nice reviews

  6. Is the YouTube date right? You couldn't have published a "best of 2017" in only February surely? And if you did may I ask about Tamron's G2 70-200. Might it have made it onto the list?

  7. Dear Chrispher, Thank you for this video. It has been very helpful. I am Payal from India. I wanted to ask you in person. Which lenses for Canon 5D Mark 4 do you suggest for a very good bokeh? I love bokeh in my images.

  8. Samyang is really making some beautiful lenses. I am very tempted to buy your #1 lens possibly down the track some, but for now I am more than happy using the Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 on my a7s for astro work Good review overall. Thanks heaps

  9. It seems from many reviews that if Samyang lenses start to come with an ultrasonic focus and IS, the market would be owned by such glasses. I'm getting my first, 14mm f2.8, can't wait to try it! 🙂
