Patong in the Daytime, Phuket 2016 – VLOG 64

Patong in the Daytime, Phuket 2016 – VLOG 64

A video of a day in Patong, Phuket.

On this day I went to watch some sports, tried an English Breakfast, then went to Bangla road and walked along Patong Second road.

It was boiling hot too and the 36 degrees that it was felt much hotter than in Bangkok.

Parts of this video include:

0:00 Nanai Road, near where I was staying

0:51 The Yorkshire Hotel bar, some Ultimate Fighting and a 220 baht English Breakfast (the food was good but nothing special)

2:23 Soi Sansabai and a police checkpoint stopping motorbikes – if you had no helmet, no international drivers license, or no registration documents for the bike you had to pay the police a fine on the spot.

3:18 Bangla Road in the daytime
4:27 Patong beach road
6:12 Sights along Patong 2nd road including some massage places
9:31 Bangla Road just before sunset

  1. Very informative video as usual. But, when you say the "older and uglier" girls in the massage parlors give better service, are you talking therapeutic massage? Or are you talking about a better "full service" beyond the usual massage?

  2. BKK112 —interesting shot of the young invincible farang racing helmetless & w/o any shirt on his motorbike…also witnessed much of the same.. Phuket and Chiang Mai are the number one locations for farang tourist motorbike fatalities……most cases, alcohol drinking is involved. i gave up my motorbike rental after 3 days in Phuket…..did not wish to press my luck….saw too many heavily bandaged and banged up young farangs on the beach…..all motorbike accidents related. many lose control riding over the mountain spine curves going to Old Phuket Town…..having ridden the same route…..can understand its perils.

  3. interesting video thank you for showing us around tourist patong in the day time the captions are really useful better than just a silent robotic walk round with no commentary or music or on screen interaction, good clear photography too

  4. I was in thailand in 2001 and they ve told me that thailand has become a cement jungle fill with so much filth and immorality and is not even like thailand any more because they are catering so much to western tourist.

  5. I used to buy tee shirts cheap there but now they are cheaper in the uk.Those tuk tuk drivers are violent little gangsters been known to beat up elderly foreigners( google the phuket taxi driver scandal). They will watch you get out of a taxi and then walk up and ask if you want a taxi ???? i was cornering slowly one day on my motorbike and a tuk tuk driver asked if i wanted a tuk tuk while i was on my fkin bike thick as shit.
