  2. The car in this video is blatantly tuned-up with a supersticky tyre that u can't find on the real car in the showroom!!

Try to do this simply confrontation: in this video, go to the Galgenkopf, the last bend before the 1 km Dottingen Hohe straigh, and calculate how many seconds the car take to go from 200 km/h to 250 km/h. Done? Ok….
Now just watch the video "New Honda Civic type r 2015 – acceleration 0-260 km/h": the same thing, see how many seconds the car takes to go from 200 km/h to 250 km/h. Right…..surpreised!?!
Don't forget that the Nordschleife straight is little bit uphill….. Now, or the car in the 0-260 video has 200hp and is going up to the Everest (and i think this scenario is to be excluded) or the car in this video is enormously tuned-up!!! To make that acceleration on the Dottingen straight this car should have at least 450hp!!!!

Firthermore, I've been on the Ring with the semi-slick tyres and i can tell u the speeds this car makes in the bends are taken from a superstiky tyres, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!

I'm not a heater, i like the Honda, i own a Honda bike, but in this video the car is 100% NON STOCK car!!

You can NOT contradict this. This is the facts.

  3. Tyres = preproduction ContiSportContact 6 — the tyres you receive if you buy the car. Yes, they are VERY soft, don't last long and are bad in winter weather (as dealers warn customers who buy the Civic-R) BUT the point is they are EXACTLY the tyres you get with the Civic Type R when you buy it.

  4. amazing car, I also love my 2.2 civic but I have to say this: this type-r really misses gear changing on the steering wheel. losing milliseconds just because honda chose to adopt a standard gear knob is a pity :(
